ASUU STRIKE: Students Would Soon Become IDPs In Their Country As A Results Of Strike – ASESI

The African Students Education Support Initiative (ASESI), has said that Students would become Internally Displaced Person’s (IDP’s) if the ongoing strike Continues’.

The students’ support group said in a statement in Abuja yesterday that “reports have revealed that Nigerian students have now resulted in armed robbery, commercial sex activities, drug addiction, and other inimical social vices because of the prolonged ASUU strike.

Mr Chinonso Obasi, the immediate past President of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), said the government and ASUU to must urgently resolve all the issues at stake in the interest of the Nigerian students.

He further advised Nigerian Students to shun politicians who does not know how to positively impact the standard of education and welfare of Nigerian students for better outcomes.
