Seth Meyers insists Ghislaine Maxwell wasn’t busted in his NH hometown

Late-night host Seth Meyers was quick to clean up his small town’s reputation Thursday — insisting it was not where Ghislaine Maxwell was busted.

“Arrest took place in BRADFORD, NH not Bedford, NH the hometown I share with [Sarah Silverman],” Meyers tweeted after a widely-shared mix-up identifying his town, population just over 20,000.

Bradford — where the British socialite was busted Thursday morning — is actually about 45 miles from his hometown, with many followers stressing it was an easy mistake to make in the Granite State.

“Not to be confused with Bradford, Brayford, Bredford, or Birdford, NH,” Poppa Mike replied of the similar-sounding towns.

Before he had realized it was a mistake, Meyers had joked that he hoped Maxwell’s arrest “doesn’t bump ‘hometown of @SarahKSilverman and Seth Meyers’ too far down the Bedford, NH fun fact list!”

After clearing up the mix-up, he added of fellow former SNL castmember Silverman, “Still, pretty nuts we’re from the same town, right?”
