2020 Ghana Election: Akufo-Addo Implementing NDC’s Manifesto Is Intentional – Mahama Fumed


Flagbearer of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has passed a strong political allegation that President Akufo-Addo rushing to implement NDC’s flagship policies in their manifesto is an act of intention.

Speaking at a People’s Manifesto Townhall Meeting in Kumasi, on Tuesday 15 September, 2020, Mr. Mahama said the NDC manifesto is a product of its wide consultation with Ghanaians of all walks of life, a process the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) made mockery of.

He said ““Today, after taunting that the NDC was going to the people because we did not know what to offer Ghanaians, they are now planning and actually implementing our proposals and promises, which are what the Ghanaian people want”.

For President John Dramni Mahama said the NDC’s’ People’s Manifesto’ was a well researched act of Ghanaians problems so that they could bring solutions that are laudable as such of what they have captured in the manifesto. Adding that Ghanaians have endorsed the policies which has made the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had a tough time hence, the rush of implementing their policies.

“It was important we went to the people whom we will be serving because it is they who would give us the power… to tell us what they wanted us to do for them.”

He then asked Ghanaians to vote the NDC bak into power in the December 7 polls.
