The lawyers for the accused wanted their client to be bailed but the State prosecutors opposed the bail application saying investigations had just commenced and for that reason it will be premature to grant them the application.

The Court presided over by Eleanor Botwe denied the accused persons bail. The case was then adjourned to September 30.
