Patapaa Finally Comes Out To Debunk Rumor Of Being Poisoned; Says He Only Had High Fever And Malaria

Agona-Swedru superstar, Justice Amoah, well known in showbiz scenes as Patapaa has finally come out to react to rumors of being poisoned by saying that he only had high fever and malaria.

It would be recalled that it was reported that the “one corner” hitmaker was hospitalized as a result of food poison. His management, however, came out to clear the air that indeed the musician has been hospitalized but it wasn’t because he was poisoned as widely speculated on social media.

“The public is hereby informed that the release is false and misleading. The artiste was hospitalized but has nothing to do with food poisoning. Patapaa Amisty is doing fine and recovering speedily from a minor illness. Air cleared, the management wishes to inform the ‘Sojas’ and the general public to be relieved and encouraged to keep praying for the team so nothing like such should happen in our future endeavors,”

Speaking in an interview with Okay FM’s Abeiku Santana, Patapaa cleared the air by saying that he was indeed hospitalized but he was not poisoned as it was rumored, adding that he had high fever which degenerated to malaria.

“I wasn’t fine but it wasn’t poison. I was very sick though. It was a high fever. I don’t like injection, so it develops into malaria,” he stated.
