2020 Ghana Election: Don’t Do Skirt And Blouse Voting On December 7 – Akufo-Addo


President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is asking all Ghanaians who are walking to the polls on December 7 to not go and do a skirt and blouse voting.

He asks voters to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), himself as the Presidential Candidate and all candidates of NPP on the parliamentary ballot. He believes as Ghanaians cheer him up and want to give him another 4 years mandate on the presidential seat, so should they give NPP candidates the same opportunity for him to be able to continue his government easily.

President Akufo-Addo has made the request in the Bono during his regional tour in the region.

He requested ” need people I can work with when I am elected for the second term. Since I cannot do it alone, there is the need for you to ensure that I have a strong majority to assist me in Parliament.”

Moreover, President Nana Addo Dankwa said it is of his utmost joy that he has fulfilled most of his 2016 campaign promises. Adding that he can do more if he retain office with his appointees and NPP Members at the Parliament.

He said “It is because of this that I now have the courage to appear before you to ask for another mandate,” adding “that there is the need for you to vote in one way, it is the elephant for the presidency and an elephant majority in Parliament.”

Lastly he pleaded with the people to not engage in any unlawful act before, during , and after the elections but should continue to engage in a peaceful and lawful behaviors at the poll.
