Ghana Election 2020: Be Honest To Ghanaians In Your Campaign – Franklin Cudjoe Tells Politicians.


Mr. Franklin Cudjoe, Founder of IMANI Ghana, is asking politicians to be honest to Ghanaians in their campaign.

The CEO of IMANI Ghana Center for Education Policy; think-Tank on Saturday 19 September, toke to share in his tweeter post his views on how Ghanaian politicians should be hones to Ghanaians in their elections campaign.

The leader of IMANI Ghana posted series of quotes from world philosophers that ask politicians to at least be honest to it citizens.

In his first tweeter post he quoted from Thomas Sowell “When you want to help people, you tell them the truth. When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.”

His second quotes contains some sarcastic but also, seriousness and facts in it. It sounds as if Ghanaians don’t read between the lines of the promises the politicians are making to them.


He quotes in his post “The problem isn’t that Johnny can’t read. The problem isn’t even that Johnny can’t think. The problem is that Johnny doesn’t know what thinking is; he confuses it with feeling”

By and large, politicians indeed have to at least respect Ghanaians and tell them the hones truth of their flagship campaign promises. They should not take the people for granted and tell them what they want to hear.
