Governor Akeredolu of Ondo state has dissolved his cabinet ahead of his second-term inauguration scheduled for Wednesday, February 24.

While appreciating the members of the State Executive Council for their support for his administration in the last four years, Akeredolu appreciated them for their dedication to duty. The governor said they had worked together as one and the interest of the state had remained paramount throughout their services to the state government.

Recall that Governor Akeredolu in his recent interview on Channels Television shared that the kidnappers who were caught hiding in the Ondo State Forest reserves spoke Fulfulde, which is the language spoken by Fulanis or Fulbe. Fulfulde is the language of the Fulbe/Fulani people known as Peul or Fulanis, who are the dominant nomads and pastoralists across the northern West-African states. The governor said this while speaking on Channels TV on Monday night February 15. He insisted that the herdsmen must obey the constituted authority in the state or leave his domain.
