2 people are feared dead amidst reports of properties destruction as activist and businessman Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho and his supporters clashed with Fulani herdsmen in Ibarapa Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Sunday Igboho reportedly stormed the Fulani settlement in Igangan town of the LGA to eject the Seriki Fulani, Salihu Abdukadir, and some other herdsmen who are accused of fuelling security problems in the area.

Recall that the activist had given the herdsmen in the area an ultimatum to leave or else they should be ready for what is coming to them. “This one we have started here in Oyo State will not end here. We are going to other parts of the South-West”, he once said while addressing the youths in the area.

Extending his warnings to Fulani herdsmen in other parts of South West, he added, “Tell Fulani herdsmen in Ekiti State, Ondo State and Osun States; in fact, in all South-West states that they should get ready for us because we are coming.”

Reports, have however, filled the air that the two groups clashed on Friday in Igangan town, leading to the deaths of at least 2 while properties worth several millions of naira were set ablaze. SaharaReporters reported that the residents of Igangan said that Fulani fighters killed at least one youth from Igboora while two others sustained injuries from gunshots.
