A deaf woman, Julie Wixey from Tysoe, Warwickshire in UK has created face masks with a see-through panel to help the aid effective communication.

Julie had experienced huge difficulty on a shopping trip had to constantly pull her mask down to communicate with shop assistants when trying to find items. This prompted the need to create something that ease the difficulty in communication for  people like herself who rely on lip reading for communication.

Although the face masks are intended for everyone, but particular focus to help those who are hard of hearing, deaf or have learning disabilities and are a much friendlier alternative to the traditional face covering.
