Floyd Mayweather ‘Engaged To Stripper Girlfriend Anna Monroe’ After Months Of Dating

Floyd Mayweather is reportedly engaged to his girlfriend Anna Monroe.

The retired professional boxer, 43, is said to have popped the question to Monroe – who works as the head stripper at Las Vegas club Girl Collection which Mayweather owns – on Saturday.

According to reports, Mayweather got down on one knee shortly after news of his relationship went public.

‘Floyd was annoyed at first that news of their relationship broke because he wanted to keep it private,’ a source told the media.

‘They had an argument about it, but soon made up and then he decided to pop the question on Saturday.’

The insider added that Monroe shared the couple’s exciting news with her friends and family, and has even spoken about her plans to have a baby with the sports star.

Neither Mayweather or Monroe have publicly confirmed their engagement, however, Monroe was seen seemingly wearing a huge rock on her wedding finger in her latest Instagram post that saw her posing in a lift.

It’s believed she and Mayweather have been dating for several months now, with the couple making their relationship official over the New Year.

Mayweather is dad to five children from two previous relationships.

He shares son Devion and daughter Iyanna with ex Melissa Brim and sons Zion and Koraun and daughter Jirah with late ex Josie Harris, who died last year from an accidental drug overdose.

Both Harris and Brim previously accused Mayweather of domestic violence.

Mayweather was convicted in 2002 over two counts of domestic violence and one count of misdemeanour battery against Brim. He was given a six-month suspended sentence, two days of house arrest and 48 hours of community service.

In 2005, Mayweather had battery charges made against him by Harris dropped, after she testified that she had lied about the allegations.

However in 2010 Harris filed a domestic battery report against Mayweather. In 2011, Mayweather was sentenced to 90 days in jail for battery charges against Harris and ordered to carry out 100 hours of community service, a 12-month domestic violence program and pay a fine of $2,500 (£1820).

The champion boxer is currently retired, although he has fought in the last couple years, taking on and beating both UFC fighter Conor McGregor in 2017 and kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018.

Mayweather has since confirmed that he’ll be fighting YouTube star Logan Paul in an exhibition match due to take place in February.
