Nii Ayite Hammond of Charterhouse, the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has shaded 3Music Awards and labelled the awards scheme as “Music Video Award” just because their performances were pre-recorded and not live as VGMA’s.
Nii Ayite Hammond threw the shade at 3Music Awards on his Facebook page by saying; “The difference between live music awards and a music video award #VGMA22“.

Ricky Tenneson of 3Music Awards replied to Nii and vowed to dirty VGMA since it’s now clear that they want to be dirtied.
He wrote;
“Chale e be like now we for put all the Respect aside, the solidarity for a growing Industry and now begin to Shit on things we think we need to shit on…….. Do people know the number of times I’ve called fellow industry colleagues to stop talking down and comparing the VGMAs to 3Music but rather see a bigger opportunity for growth of the Industry.??.. But now we all will go Dirty I swear….. IF YOU INVITE ME ON ANY SHOW IN RELATION TO VGMAs, please know I’m coming to SPEAK MY TRUTH and not “massage” issues anymore -Happy Sunday.
