The state of a primary school and the access road to it in a community in oil rich Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State

The pictures shown in this post show the poor state of a public primary school in Akarai Etiti community in oil-rich Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State.

Looking at the photos, one would see reasons why the host communities of oil rich regions are constantly at loggerheads with the government and oil producing companies for leaving their communities to rot away while they cart away with their resources.

A native of the community who spoke with a CorrectNG.com correspondent said;

This is despite the state being one of the top three oil-rich states in the country and Ndokwa East LGA a major oil producing Local government area in Delta State.

The Governor of Delta State, The Local Government Chairman, The DESOPADEC Commissioner, the member representing Ndokwa East Constituency, the member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency have all abandoned the only educational facility in Akarai Etiti Community, at Ndokwa East Local Government Area of the state.

Aside lack of educational facility, the people of Akarai Etiti Community lack suitable water supply as their only source of water supply’s is dirty pond water.

Aside The lack of suitable water supply, the Akarai clan amongst other communities in that region of Ndokwa East LGA, do not have access Road network.
