Donald Trump wants to reopen US whether there’s a covid-19 vaccine or not



President Donald Trump has promised the US will reopen “vaccine or no vaccine”.

Speaking at a White House Rose Garden news conference yesterday, Mr Trump still said a vaccine project called: “Operation Warp Seed” was already on with studies on 14 promising vaccine candidates, to deliver a coronavirus jab by year end.

But he was not ready to wait that long before Americans must begin to return to their lives as normal.

He likened the vaccine project to the World War Two effort to produce the world’s first nuclear weapons.
