Operatives of the Dragon Patrol Team on routine stop and search duty have arrested three suspected ritualists with a container filled with Fresh human blood in Delta State.
The suspects include Monday Nwite, 27 years, Madabuchi Nweke 26 years and Nwite Sunday, 21years.
The suspects are all indigenes of Ebenta village in Ohaukwu LGA, Ebonyi State in Nigeria.
They were arrested when the Police intercepted a commuter bus traveling from Asaba to Kwale, all passengers were asked to submit themselves for search.
During the search, three suspects were found with a container filled with fresh human blood.
The three suspects were immediately arrested by the Police.
The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.
The Police Image maker said, “During interrogation, the suspects confessed to have murdered some unknown persons in Ebonyi State and were on their way with the murdered person’s blood to a native doctor whose identity is unknown for now but resides in Kwale.
Edafe said “They were taking the blood to the said native doctor for rituals purposes.
“One rosary necklace tied with charms was also recovered from them.”
He noted that “Investigation is ongoing.”
