The number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria continues to rise. Today’s figures comes on day 1 post lockdown to stem the spread of the disease, and it is an affirmation that a wider spread may beckon.
With a total of 2,802 cases of which 417 patients (25%) have recovered, there may be a review in no time of the lockdown relaxation order.
The 245 new cases sees 76 more from Lagos, 37 in Katsina, 32 in Jigawa, 23 in Kano, and 19 in Abuja.
