
United States President Donald Trump has reportedly engaged President Muhammadu Buhari by phone on Tuesday.
He expressed solidarity with Nigeria on its battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
Minister of Information Lai Mohammed made the disclosure at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
He noted that Trump in the conversion with the president promised to send across ventilators to Nigeria.
The country has over 1,300 cases of coronavirus and has been trying to get ventilators for treatment.
