Many people have been wandering the reason why the veteran actor gave the name Yul yo his son. Many have also wandered the meaning of the name. Pete Edochie has 5 sons; Leo, Uche, Linc, Gene and Yul.

In an Instagram live session, Pete Edochie answering some questions from his fans was quizzed why he named his last born Yul. A name which is not familiar to the native Nigerian culture.

According to Pete Edochie, he took a foreign actor as his role model and decided to name his last born after his role model. Yul Edochie was named after a Russian-American legendary actor, singer and director Yul Brynner.
