Ghana Premier League side, Karela United have parted ways with their head coach, Evans Adotey for the remainder of the 2023/2023 season on health grounds.
The club did not provide any further details regarding the decision but wished Adotey well.
This follows the team’s heavy 4-1 defeat to relegation-threatened Ebusua Dwarfs on Monday afternoon.
Karela began the season well and were top of the league log at one point during the first round, however, Adotey’s men have only managed to win three out of the fourteen games they have played in the second round.
Their poor form in the second round has seen them drop from the top four to seventh place on the log with 46 points.
It is unclear who will handle the team in Adotey’s absence.
Management of the club has reached an agreement with Coach Evans Adotey to step aside for the remainder of the season on health grounds… We wish him well
