The Lagos State government has confirmed 80 new cases of coronavirus disease in the state.
This was disclosed by the Lagos State Ministry of Health in a tweet via its official Twitter account on Wednesday.
The tweet read “ COVID-19 Update as at 28th April, 2023.
“80 new cases of coronavirus Infection confirmed.
“Total confirmed cases in Lagos now 860.
“ Call 08000CORONA for any COVID19 issues.”
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday confirmed 195 new cases of coronavirus disease in the country.
Nigeria now has 1,532 confirmed cases of COVID19, 255 patients out of these have been discharged while 44 deaths have been recorded.
