Pat Kiernan, the beloved NY1 anchor who officiated a Zoom wedding live on air this week, says, “So many of the things about this pandemic are tragic and unforgettable,” he tells Page Six, “But I’ll remember this moment forever too, and I’ll be smiling every time.”
On Thursday, Department of Sanitation worker Julie Raskin and lawyer Matthew Haicken wed with their dog as the ring bearer and NY1 staffers Roger Clark, Annika Pergament and Jamie Stelter as witnesses. “We really wanted to get this right,” Kiernan said. “All of the pieces were there thanks to some creativity.”
Congratulations!
