I Wasn’t Beaten Or Molested – James Brown Reacts To Viral Video Of Crossdresser Mistaken For Him

Nigerian crossdresser and socialite, James Obialor is popularly known as James Brown has debunked rumors that he has been molested or beaten up by a group of people on the street.

The new trend in Nigeria currently is either tattooing a public figure on your body or crossdressing. Apart from Bobrisky, there are a number of crossdressers who have boldly come out to declare their stand. Crossdressing is one of the acts frowned upon by people in some counties. Nigeria is no exception as the laws of cross-dressing have been refused despite the pressure to pass the law.

In a viral video going viral on social media, a group of people was seen stripping a man naked who was dressed in woman’s attire, wearing makeup and women’s hair. The video was shared by Instagram blogger NaijaEverything.

The crossdresser was beaten and poured water on for dressing like a woman. The crossdresser in the video was mistaken for James Brown as he had similar features to him. However, James Brown has come out to debunk the rumors and has said he is not the one in the video being beaten up.

“There’s a video going viral that I was beating. Please that is not me, I was not beaten neither was I molested. And I can’t go to the street of Lagos to make a video without carrying security, at least 3 or 4 soldiers should be by my side. Again, forget about any threat because nobody can slap or beat me if anybody does such, he or she will end up in prison. Am sorry for whatever happened to that young guy but that is not me please am fine”
