Kano LG Chairman Hassan Garban Appoints 55 Aides

55 Special Advisers and Assistants were appointed by Hassan Garban Kauye Farawa, the Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State.

While swearing in the new appointees, Governor Abdullahi urged the new appointees to discharge their duties conscientiously and stay away from anything that will tarnish the image of the Local government and the state as a whole.

According to the Governor, the new appointment is in accordance with the mission to eradicate poverty.

Farawa said; 

“The appointment of the 55 aides is as a result of the efforts of Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, of eradicating poverty among youth and to boost the kano State economy more especially during these hard times.”

Recently, the councillor of Gurungawa Ward of the Kumbotso Local Government appointed 18 aides, and it sparked debate.

But then, the Usman Alkali Baba was decorated by the Vice President of Nigerian, Yemi Osinbajo after outgoing IGP Adamu Mohammed handed over to him.

The tenure of office of Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu was increased in the month of February by 3 months but unfortunately it was terminated after the selection process for a new Inspector General of Police was completed.

Newzandar News understands that the decoration was done at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
