More than 30 captured as #RevolutionNow dissenters storm Lagos roads on Independence day to request end to awful administration

Many dissenters rampaged of Lagos to request the end of awful administration in Nigeria on the event of its 60th Independence and at any rate 30 of those dissidents have been captured.

The demonstrators told newsmen that they were individuals from #RevolutionNow protesters.

A few individuals from the gathering, including the coordinator, Omoyele Sowore, were captured a year ago by the Federal Government for completing a comparable protest.

During the protest in Lagos, Nigerian security officials raged the region and arrested in any event 30 of them.

Reacting to the protest, Agba Jalingo “We are tired of Buhari and we want to tell the whole world that we are tired. Even with all the police mobilisation, we are here to show them our determination to confront this government.

“We are not going to be afraid of them. We will protest regardless of what they do. Nigerians are tired of bearing the burden that Buhari keeps piling on us, they must reverse the increase in fuel price, end ASUU strike.”

@1Nigeriangirl reacted to the arrests, writing: “The revolution has begun. You can only arrest how many? Kill how many? The people are fed up and the clock is ticking. Tiktok.”
