President Buhari Mourns Classmate

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed regret at the death of Muhammadu Ibrahim Maigari, also known as Muhammadu Musawa, a notable community leader and a classmate in college.

This was disclosed to newsmen by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity. Buhari in his condolence message described his classmate as a complete gentleman and selfless person.

The president said;

“His passing away is a loss to all of us, his classmates, in whose hearts he had a special place. He was a complete gentleman and a selfless person who endeared himself to all who came close to him. My special condolences to his brothers, Alhaji Yazid Ibrahim, Senator Abu Ibrahim and Barrister Yahaya Ibrahim,”

The president also expressed his condolences to the Katsina Emirate Council, the government, and the people of Katsina State.

He prayed to Allah for the deceased’s forgiveness.

In other development, Governor Muhammadu Badaru of Jigawa state has stated that the President of Nigeria, Buhari is honest, transparent, and sleeps with Nigerians at heart.

He made this disclosure while speaking at a big reception which took place in Yola, Adamawa State on Saturday, July 10 to commemorate the latest abscond of Senator Grace Bent from PDP to APC.

The governor claimed that the Buhari administration has achieved significant progress in strengthening road, rail, aviation, and electricity infrastructure, as well as a variety of interventions aimed at addressing the country’s social, economic, and security concerns.
