Secondary School Students Kidnapped In Plateau State

In a report we have sighted, some secondary school students in Plateau State have been kidnapped.

Per the report, these students are students of the Capro Secondary Mission School located at Gana Ropp in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The incident happened on April 29 when some unknown gunmen stormed school premises and took away four students.

As of the time of the report, three of the students had regained their freedom and this was after they were able to escaped from these kidnappers.

A report by Channels Television stated that the global mission leader and President of Para-Mallam Peace Foundation, Reverend Gideon Para-Mallam was the one who confirmed the incident.

According to him, the attackers broke the rear fence of the school where a hole was drilled to gain access into the school compound.

He added that the timely intervention of security agencies prevented what could have been another mass abduction stating that the kidnappers took to their heels after realizing the reinforcement of security in the area.

This incident comes at a time the country is trying to deal with increasing cases of abduction and murder.
