Synagogue Church Slams Reports That TB Joshua’s Wife Has Been Named Successor

The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) leadership has rejected rumors that Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) founder Temitope Balogun Joshua, had been named as his successor to lead the church.

At a news conference held at the church’s headquarters on Tuesday, June 29, the church’s leadership advised people to ignore rumors about a succession plan and focus instead on the church’s intentions to give the renowned clergyman a proper burial.

An international member of the church, Dr. Gary Tonge, addressed on behalf of the church at the conference titled “Celebrating The Life and Legacy of Prophet TB Joshua- Not Mine But God’s Own.”

“Questions concerning succession, if there is anything to say on the subject it will be clearly, plainly and directly announced. Generally, on this and on other issues, there are many different stories which are going around in the media about succession. Until you hear an official announcement then it is best to disregard those things.’’

In the news, the detail for the funeral of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T.B. Joshua has been released by TB Joshua Ministries.

CEO of Ovation media, Dele Momodu, who was a friend of the late prophet took to his Instagram to share a photo showing details of the funeral as released by the church.

On July 5, a candlelight procession will be held followed by a tribute service and service of songs/all night praise will be held on July 6 and 7. He would be laid in state on July 8. The funeral service and interment will hold the following day, July 9.

The funeral will be completed with a thanksgiving service on July 11.
