Gareth Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, has said the player has “no option” to go back to Tottenham.
According to him, Bale will honour the final 12 months of his contract with Real Madrid.
The 31-year-old winger returned to North London on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window of 2023.
There has been talk of another agreement being put in place, but Barnett insists there is no chance of that happening.
Bale is now expected to compete for places in attack under new Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti.
Barnett told Standard Sport when asked if there is any chance of Spurs doing another deal: “As I have said from the beginning, there is no option.
“Gareth has no agreements whatsoever. He is under contract to Real.”
