Golf pro Charl Schwartzel aces Palm Beach Gardens mansion sale for $9M

South Africa native and pro golfer Charl Schwartzel just aced the sale of his Palm Beach Gardens mansion for $9.85 million.

And part of the package deal is an indoor putting green — because of course.

The Florida property initially hit the market last September for $10.4 million. The sale was closed on June 15, according to The Real Deal.

Spanning a massive 13,000 square feet, the estate is made up of six bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Located in the Old Palm Golf Club community, the property is privately gated, and is situated on the Raymond Floyd signature golf course.

Schwartzel bought the one acre property in 2012 for $1.1 million. By 2013, he filed to construct a single-family home on the land, which would take two years to build and would be completed in 2015.

Features include an indoor/outdoor air conditioned loggia, with seating, a full bar, and summer kitchen that opens out to the pool area. Adjacent is an indoor game room, complete with a temperature controlled wine room and a fireplace, according to the listing.
