An NYPD officer was shot in the shoulder with a BB gun outside of a public housing complex on Staten Island Monday night, police said.
Two uniformed neighborhood coordination officers were targeted by an unknown suspect after leaving a building at NYCHA’s Richmond Terrace Houses at about 7:40 p.m., according to police.


One of the officers was struck by a BB as the duo were entering their marked patrol car, police said.
The officer who was hit suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
No arrests were made as of Monday night.
